We continue to be extremely busy with Martha's Folk Art!
Thanks to all of you for your continued support and encouragement!
Last year I was suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome, had
the surgery in March 2007, so I wasn't able to do much painting.
I have started back painting, but am way behind in getting
house portraits done! If you are waiting for a house portrait,
I will get to it, but it will take some time. Please let
me know if you are still interested or no longer interested.
Through my rep, Toni Harkins, we met with the manager
of the gift shop at the Shelburne Museum, who is interested
in having me do some paintings of the Museum buildings
that can be translated into greeting cards, prints, tote
bags and T-shirts. I will be working on some of these paintings
over the winter and will see what materializes! This could
be a very exciting venture for us. I will keep you posted
on developments!
We
continue to encourage customers to come to our gallery
at 1379 Reilly Road, Londonderry, and we seem to have
more and more people stopping by. We are open from May
through October by chance or appointment. We go to Venice,
Florida in the winter but are back at Christmas time
for about a month. We would love to have you stop by
and visit. The gallery can be opened in the winter by
appointment.
Thanks again for your support and encouragement!
With warm regards. Martha
